Bisconni Prime Daydream

The Bisconni brand was launched in 2002 by Ismail Industries with the goal to create premium biscuits (or cookies, as we call them in America) for an international palate. Its most famous first biscuit was Cocomo, which was advertised with very popular jingles that went: Cocomo, mujhe bhe do (Cocomo, give it to me!). This was a little cookie shaped like a button and filled with a choco cream inside. Coffee ones came later! Coffee is popular in Pakistan today, though that wasn’t always the case. Tea has always been the dominant hot beverage—with many different iterations of it across the land. There’s spiced tea, pink tea, karak tea, milk tea, and so many more. Crispy biscuits such as these are always paired with tea, and dunking them in tea is a popular way to enjoy them together, even for adults! Sometimes, you can fill your entire teacup with biscuits and then have the soaked goodness with a spoon!
