It took some centuries to truly gain a foothold in the culture, but now Turks are the 5th largest consumer of cocoa products in the world, eating an average of over 3 kilograms per person, per year. That’s the equivalent of 3 small watermelons! It only makes sense that Venus, the makers of these cocoa pretzels, would foresee the popularity of the “sweet n’ salty” trend and combine their crunchy (and usually savory) pretzels, with a sweetened flavor of cocoa.
