Klassika Skumtomtar

Skumtomtar, or ‘Foam Santas,’ are a traditional Swedish Christmas candy, with tiny Santas and elves made out of soft, foamy sweet candy, similar to mini marshmallows. Every year, Swedes eat more than 200 million mini foam Santas. That’s almost 20 Santas per person in all of Sweden! Many Swedes believe that the more foam Santas you buy and eat, the more Christmas cheer you’ll have—so instead of packets, many buy entire boxes full of the merry pink Santas. In order to have a wonderful month, we’ll have to eat as many Santas as possible! Skumtomtar has a marshmallow-y texture, with a subtle strawberry flavor that complements the beautiful pink color of the Santa wonderfully.
