Orange-y • Almond-y • Noteworthy. Pasticcino means “little pastry” in Italian, which is not that helpful, because it can mean anything from cannoli to cookies to meringues – three things which are, to be clear, quite different from each other. To be specific, these ones happen to be bite-size cookies – crispy on the outside with a soft, tender interior, filled with rich almonds and fragrant Sicilian orange. Perfect on the side of a strong Italian espresso!
