This delicious milk chocolate bar, stuffed to the gills with luxuriously smooth pistachio cream and with an added biscuit crunch to remind you of kataifi, is inspired by the worldwide sensation of Dubai Chocolate: the bar that combines chocolate, pistachio cream, and crunchy chopped and roasted filo pastry to bring together several different textures and flavors in one little bite to blow your mind. It’s inspired by the Arab dessert of ‘Knafeh,’ a traditional dessert with layers of filo pastry, cheese, and a sweet, sweet syrup. Dubai Chocolate was created in 2021 by Sarah Hamouda whilst working at a Dubai chocolatier—fun fact, she was pregnant at the time, and craving something that combined all these different flavors!
