Ingredients
- 2 cups unsweetened soy milk
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar (or black vinegar)
- ½ tbsp light soy sauce
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp dried shrimp (optional)
- 2 tbsp chopped scallions
- 1 tbsp fried shallots
- ½ cup youtiao (Chinese fried dough), chopped
Preparation
- Heat the soy milk until just simmering, then remove from heat.
- In a bowl, mix vinegar, soy sauce, salt, and sesame oil.
- Pour the hot soy milk into the bowl and let it sit for a minute to curdle slightly.
- Top with dried shrimp, scallions, fried shallots, and youtiao. Serve immediately.
